Third day of Royal Welsh is full of promise

The third – and our final day – of this year’s Royal Welsh Show has dawned and its currently overcast and a tad misty here in Builth Wells, but it promises to be a warm one later, possibly too warm for some, but we’re not complaining atfer the rain here last year!

There’s a veritable feast of judging for us to get our teeth into today, including the sheep interbreed pairs and singles and the dairy interbreed and dairy and beef pairs awards. the pig rings will also see the climax of judging, with both pairs and single championships decided.

Unfortunately, its also FW press day, so I’m going to be manicly writing copy for the magazine, this may mean Taking Stock isn’t updated too regularly, but I promise to bring you all the main results and pictures by the end of the day.
