Western Holsteins sell to 2600gns

Holsteins sold to a peak price of 2600gns at the Western Holstein Club’s sale at Beeston Castle last week, when the reserve champion from the pre-sale show sold to Ted Fearon, Cartmel. Cumbria. This was Tameside Ella 120 from R E and T R Summerhayes.

Then at 2300gns was Alandrew Gibson Melissa 2 from G and A E Smith and Sons, which sold to Robbie Bell, Knutsford.

And the same buyer snapped up the next highes priced entry, Chelton Lady 296 from H Lomas and Son.

A brace sold for 2200gns, the first of which was Whinchatt Shott Flo from A C Birkle. This sold to P and R Robinson, Nantwich. The other was Dunnerdale Lou Maud from W W and D Boow. This one was taken by H W Evans, Oswestry.
