Wraycastle Charollais take two Easter titles

The Geldard family’s Wraycastle flock of Charollais sheep have taken the Easter Show Championship awards against strong competition at both Lancaster and Kendal Marts this week .

On Monday at Lancaster the champion lamb weighing 45kg sold for £112 (249p/kg) to Whittakers Butchers, Walney Island.

The following day the champion at Kendal weighed 46kg and sold for £108 (235p/kg) to Lancaster Meat Company.
