Farm machinery dealerships to sell Ineos Grenadier 4×4

Order books for the long-awaited Ineos Grenadier have finally opened and several major farm machinery dealerships are set to be part of the distribution network.

The first to be announced is Fendt and JCB franchisee Compass Tractors at Bridgwater, Somerset, and it will be joined by 22 other retail outlets – big, small, urban and rural – dotted evenly across the country.

Options at the time of launch will be restricted to a two-seat commercial Grenadier (£48,000 inc VAT), and a five-seater in both commercial and standard passenger car form (both priced at just over £50,000 inc VAT).

And with powertrain options limited to a straight choice between a petrol or diesel version of BMW’s 3-litre straight-six engine, paired with a ZF eight-speed auto, the buying process is likely to be relatively straightforward.

A three-year, unlimited mileage warranty will be standard, but the company is open to customers completing repairs themselves.

Mechanically minded owners will be able to tap into technical support from Ineos HQ and access both a parts catalogue and interactive 3D repair manuals.

Servicing will be the responsibility of the 23 retail outlets, plus a clutch of Bosch Car Service workshops, which Ineos says will be located no more than 45mins from every customer. There will also be a team of “flying spanners” to complete jobs in remote areas.

The 75,000 people who have already registered their interest are now able to reserve a vehicle online for delivery in July 2022.
