Agritechnica 2025: Vaderstad Spirit gets coulter pressure boost
© MAG/Oliver Mark Redesigned disc arms on Vaderstad’s Spirit drill allow coulter pressure to be cranked up from the current 80kg to 120kg.
These are cast rather than fashioned from box-section and are mounted on a profiled triangular bar that allows extra force to be applied to the double seeding disc.

Other tweaks include in-cab depth adjustment, which removes the need for operators to clip shims onto rams, and the option of 167mm row spacings in addition to the regular 125mm.
As for prices, the popular 6m 600C, complete with blockage sensors and seed counting, costs about £138,000 in seed-only guise.Â
Updates have also been made to the Tempo precision row unit, including a tougher, easy-access hopper, quick-release singulation disc cover and the option of electric on-the-move depth and pressure adjustment.
