Novag bolsters direct drill range with 7.5m T-ForcePlus
© Novag The movers and shakers at Novag have wasted little time in adding another direct drill to the T-ForcePlus portfolio, just six months after being rescued from a financial precipice by newly formed company ANG.
The no-till 750 slots between existing TForces 650 and 850 and is available in two working widths.

Buyers on 36m tramlines will likely lean towards the slightly narrower 7.2m version, which comes with the option of either 30 coulters spaced 240mm apart, or 36 set at 200mm.
Alternatively, there’s a 7.5m setup armed with 30 row units at 250mm centres.
The soil working components are unchanged – notched opening discs with accompanying blades cut an inverted T into the soil, and twin press wheels in V formation consolidate afterwards.
New distributor
But there are new features, one of which is a larger diameter Intellihead distributor that offers individual row control and seed flow monitoring.
There is also a new ladder and platform to access the re-profiled 5,400-litre split hopper, which can be supplemented with a further two tanks for multi-product applications.
Power requirement is around the 300hp mark and list price is £190,000.
Another Novag novelty is its prototype Intellifox bait dispenser to target field mice.
It uses a serrated 570mm cutting disc and torpedo-shaped body to bore a 50mm channel roughly 150mm deep, into which rodenticide is placed.
This keeps it well away from the field surface, before a ridge roller consolidates the ground. The company is working on gaining the necessary approvals.
