Amazone to launch Cenius cultivators
Amazone‘s new Cenius cultivators are available in working widths of 3m, 3.5m and 4m, are suitable for tractors from 125hp and come in configurations to suit all soil conditions.
They are intended primarily for pre-ploughing cultivation or to go straight into stubble to encourage volunteer and weed seed germination. They can also mix in large quantities of stubble and trash at high working speeds.
The Cenius has a 3-row tine configuration as standard with a tine spacing of 270mm. For farms with lighter soil and a moderate stone content, a tine design with shear bolt fixing is available.
Amazone’s 3-D tine system, as featured on its Centaur cultivators, is available for heavy and stony soils. This allows the spring-protected tine to move backwards and sideways if an obstacle is encountered. Four share types are offered to cover working depths of 5-30cm, with a quick-change system for varying conditions and requirements.
For mixing in and levelling after the tine array there is a choice of leaf spring elements or maintenance-free concave discs. Both can be adjusted centrally without tools.
For reconsolidation and depth control five following rollers are available – a light cage roller, a tandem roller, a tooth packer roller, a roller tiller and a wedge ring roller.
Prices start at £8220.
