Horsch launches 12m trailed and 3m mounted cultivators
Horsch Cruiser XL © Horsch German maker Horsch has unveiled new additions at opposite ends of its cultivator spectrum – one a 12m high-output trailed implement and the other 3m and linkage-mounted.
The heaviest newcomer resides in the tine-based Cruiser XL range, which until now had comprised only 7m and 9m versions.

Adding another 3m to the working width to form the Cruiser 12 XL should appeal to large arable units looking for a fast means of mixing in organic material left after harvest.

It is capable of operating 2-15cm deep, with the FlexGrip tines – carried on a six-bar frame and spaced 17cm apart – pre-tensioned to 180kg to maintain a consistent working depth.
Points are available in 5cm, 8cm or 10cm carbide or non-carbide iterations and there is also a new 24cm FlexCut wing to increase soil disturbance.
Only two double-acting spools are required for operation, and an electro-hydraulic sequence control makes folding and unfolding simple to handle from the in-cab terminal.

Joining the Cruiser 12 XL on Horsch’s tillage roster is a shorter, more agile 3m version of the heavy duty Tiger cultivator, designed for tractors from 240hp upwards.
Built around a two-bar frame with four rows of tines spaced at 23cm, it delivers the same intense mixing and incorporation as other tools in the Tiger range, only in a more manoeuvrable three-point linkage-mounted format.
TerraGrip tines offer a release force up to 650kg, and a choice of MulchMix points and Terrano FX packers complete the soil-engaging parts.
