Lamma 2023: Weaving extends Stubble Rake to 9m on lighter version

A lighter, stronger and wider version of Weaving’s Stubble Rake offers buyers the prospect of covering post-harvest ground far quicker.
The new 9m model folds in three sections to keep it sensibly sized on the road, rather than the centre-split setup of the existing 7m variant.

The rest of the design is largely as before, with five rows of 16mm-diameter tines tickling the surface to redistribute chaff and chopped straw, encourage weed seeds and volunteers to germinate, and decimate slug eggs.
The company also suggests it can be used to attack blackgrass in a growing crop.
The tines are spaced 75mm apart, with 500mm between each row, and have hydraulic angle adjustment to alter the intensity of disturbance from the tractor cab.
Recommended working speed is 15-25kph, and Weaving recommends pairing it with a tractor of at least 150hp. It costs £18,800 – £4,000 more than the 7m version.
