Puro precision drill set to join Pottinger range
© Pottinger Pottinger’s acquisition of Italian drill maker Matermacc has borne its first fruit, with the Austrian firm having recently unveiled a prototype precision seeder in its trademark red-and-white livery.
The working width of the Puro H 3000 is 4.5m, with six planter units strung across the telescoping frame – each carrying a 68-litre hopper and a Dual Disc coulter that provides up to 180kg of down pressure.

There’s also a 1,300-litre fertiliser tank to apply products behind spring-mounted double-disc coulters, with adjustable band spacing set individually of the seeding rows.
The drills will be built in San Vito, Italy – the original Matermacc factory that Pottinger took on in 2022.
