Acre-eating GreenTec Tiger rotary mower can work at 11mph
© GreenTec The Tiger rotary mower from Danish outfit GreenTec is geared up for high-output vegetation taming with a speedy working range of 9-11mph.
And yet power requirements are modest, with a 100hp host tractor recommended for the smaller 5.1m model and 140hp for the 7.25m range-topper.

Attachment is via a three-point linkage mounting system, which is designed to give a tighter turning circle than a regular drawbar, while reducing the risk of pto damage.
In addition, this makes the rig quicker to couple and decouple, as well as offering a simple method of fine-tuning cutting height.
Under the folding beds, buyers can choose how many blades they want to fit, from a minimum of two to a maximum of six.
According to GreenTec, this allows the machine to tackle a wide range of tasks from stubble management to tidying up fallow land and cover crops.
There’s also the option of fitting different blade types: high-lift ones are standard fare and have the lowest power demand, mulching versions will shred the material, while recycling blades deliver an even finer chop.
Prices start at £28,000 for the 5.1m Tiger 510.
