Maschio has updated its range of Bisonte flail mowers, which are designed to run on tractors of between 60hp and 140hp.
Improvements include fixed-position headstocks on both sides that replace the swing-over top link mount. Combined with two 1,000rpm gearbox connections, it means the mowers can be fitted to a tractor’s front or rear linkage.

Performance has also been improved with a 25% increase in rotor speed to 2,000rpm on the 280 model, and there is now a third position setting for the rear roller.
The mowers come in four widths from 2.26m up to 2.98m and can be offset by up to 500mm. Prices start from £8,606 for the Bisonte 220, and they are supplied by Lincolnshire-based importer Opico.
