Maschio beefs up Bisonte flail mowers

Maschio has updated its range of Bisonte flail mowers, which are designed to run on tractors of between 60hp and 140hp.
Improvements include fixed-position headstocks on both sides that replace the swing-over top link mount. Combined with two 1,000rpm gearbox connections, it means the mowers can be fitted to a tractor’s front or rear linkage.

Performance has also been improved with a 25% increase in rotor speed to 2,000rpm on the 280 model, and there is now a third position setting for the rear roller.
The mowers come in four widths from 2.26m up to 2.98m and can be offset by up to 500mm. Prices start from ÂŁ8,606 for the Bisonte 220, and they are supplied by Lincolnshire-based importer Opico.
