Lamma 2026: Taylor Attachments debuts Fortis compactor
© MAG/Oliver Mark The chunky rings of Taylor Attachments’ new 3m and 3.5m Fortis silage compactors should help penetrate air pockets below the clamp surface.
They are 1.26m in diameter, so protrude well beyond the 914mm drum to cut deep into the crop.

Aiding this is the implement’s 2.4t empty weight, plus up to 2t of water ballast. Internal baffles allow for part-filling to the desired weight without the contents sloshing around.
Standard features include folding stands, a full rear lighting kit and nylon corner rollers on the frame to avert major damage should they collide with a pit wall.
A Fortis 3000 comes in at £11,200.
