Taylor Attachments takes on production of MDE grass forks
MDE’s big grass forks are now being manufactured by Taylor Attachments © Taylor Attachments The giant-size grass forks and other agricultural products produced by MDE Machinery will in future be manufactured by Taylor Attachments at its farm-based factory near Bristol.
Taylor is best known for its three-point linkage headstock, which enables loaders to safely pick up and move tractor-mounted implements, or to hold them in a way that makes access easier for maintenance to replace wearing parts.
But the business also produces assorted loader attachments, including buckets, pallet and muck forks, bag lifters and bale handlers.

The company has taken on the entirety of MDE’s agricultural product range, comprising mainly large-volume buckrakes and grass forks for big wheeled loaders, after MDE Machinery directors decided to focus on the firm’s excavator-mounted attachments.
This acquisition follows a period of significant growth for Taylor Attachments, backed by more than £1.2m of investment in facilities and workshops over the past 18 months, with further upgrades continuing through autumn of this year.
MDE Machinery continues to manufacture tree shears, grapple saws and mulchers at its Collone base in Armagh, Northern Ireland.
