Continuing a tradition of innovation was Quad-X’s prototype three-in-one Power Shredder which has been designed to be used as a verge/embankment mower, a hedge trimmer and as a general shredder.

At its heart is a 1.5m wide hydraulically driven flail which can, through manipulation of a series of rams, be positioned to perform the tasks mentioned.

Requiring a 120hp tractor, Quad-X points out that the design of the rotor is such that material flows quickly through it – reducing fuel costs and increasing output.
