Knight Farm Machinery started with a clean sheet of paper when designing its biggest self-propelled sprayer to date.

Available in 5000-litre (pictured) and 6000-litre sizes, it rides on a new chassis with air axle suspension and Poclain SmartDrive automatic hydro transmission with positive dynamic braking.

The in-house designed and built cabin has its own air spring and damper suspension system, which complements the axle set up for an extra-smooth ride, says John Wooding of Knight.

A Perkins six-pot diesel developing 200hp powers the machine, which can be kitted out with conventional and twin fluid spraying systems.
