Kuhn has updated its Agri-longer hedgecutter range with a pair of new GII models.
The straight-arm design comes in two formats, with the 4345 ML offering a horizontal reach of 4.3m and the larger 4845 ML extending to 4.8m. Vertical reach on the two models is 5.21m and 5.74m respectively, and both come with a new pendulum link mechanical safety system.

Improvements over the earlier Agri-longer models include increased hydraulic rotor power, up from 34hp to 40hp. The electric joystick is now standard, too, along with a control unit that includes an oil temperature display, hour counter and lift float indicator.
In the cutting department, a 1.2m direct-drive flail head offers 220deg of rotation and has 24 boot-shaped flails mounted on 12mm shackles. Handily, the cutting head can tuck in behind the tractor’s wheel when trimming tight lanes.
Prices for the new cutters start at £14,140.
