ML launches ‘Devon Dairy’ brand

MILK LINK has created a new brand of fresh milk in the south-west, which will be available exclusively through all Tesco stores in Devon from Mon, June 21.

“The Devon Dairy” brand was launched at the Devon County Show last week (May 20) and follows the success of the Cornish Dairy brand unveiled last year.

The milk will be processed and packaged Milk Link‘s Okehampton site, which it acquired from Peninsula Milk in February this year.

Andrew Morris, managing director at the fresh milk sites at Newlands Farm and Peninsula, said he expected to sell about 5m litres of milk a year under the brand – double that used for the Cornish Dairy brand.
