Twose was showing off its 3m Silvercut 300FC disc mower at Dumfries.

Previously the biggest model it offered was a 2.1m version but it says that demand for wider kit is increasing.

Made by Slovenian firm SIP, the new model should follow ground contours better thanks to its centre-pivot system. Other features are the plastic-finger conditioner, quick-change, one-tool blades and individual shear pin disc protection.

It’s aimed at larger farmers and contractors.
