Amazone EasyMatch offers fertiliser spreading settings by photo
EasyMatch software © Amazone Pulling up fertiliser spreading settings just by taking a photo of the material to be applied is the latest time- and hassle-saving development from Amazone.
EasyMatch was made available as a free update for Amazone’s mySpreader app this month and a reference template – a plastic frame with millimetre markings along two sides of the rectangle – is available from dealers.

The measurement markings enable the EasyMatch software to determine the size and volume of prills and granules.
A digital “fingerprint” is created using artificial intelligence, which the system uses to search the Amazone fertiliser database.
EasyMatch is designed to identify different fertilisers, even if the product name is unknown, and their spreading characteristics with sufficient accuracy to provide users with a basic setup for their machine.
The quick and convenient process should encourage growers to improve the accuracy of mineral fertiliser usage to counter the crop performance and cost implications of sub-optimal application rates and spread patterns.
The new mySpreader app feature, which can be used with all current-range Amazone spreaders, joins the existing functions, such as the EasyCheck digital test kit and the EasyMix function for settings and evaluations of blended fertilisers.
