Bigger, quieter cab for Amazone Pantera 4504 sprayer

Amazone hopes to lure more sprayer operators into its Pantera 4504 self-propelled by introducing a bigger and quieter cab.

Inside, there has been a thinning of physical controls on the armrest, with all of the main functions now managed by a single multi-function joystick.

An integrated smartphone holder has also been added, with the provision of further cockpit niceties determined by the buyer’s choice of three spec levels.

Top models get Cat 4 filtration and a leather seat with heating and ventilation, as well as a cool box, footrests, carpet and side sun blinds.

On the outside, Amazone has upgraded all the work lights to LEDs and tweaked the styling of the front apron and flank panels.

Powertrain and spraying hardware remains unchanged, with a 218hp engine feeding the 50kph-rated hydrostatic transmission.

Tank capacity is 4,500 litres, booms range from 21m to 48m, and suction and spray pump capacities are 700 and 500 litres/min, respectively.

Options include AmaSelect single-nozzle control to improve accuracy over the standard seven- to 13-section setup.
