Horsch front tank option for mounted Leeb sprayers available

Horsch has launched two front tank options for its Leeb CS rear-mounted sprayer, with the Leeb 1.2 FT offering 1,200-litre capacity and the 1.8 upping that to 1,800 litres.

When rear CS and front FT are combined, owners will have up to 4,000 litres of spraying capacity at their disposal, and in a more flexible and manoeuvrable package than trailed or self-propelled equivalents, says Horsch.

Mounting is via a standard coupling triangle to minimise setup times without the need to manually plumb in hydraulic lines.

“Basic” variants of the FT don’t come with an agitator or cleaning facility, so are better suited to employment as an additional water tank. These have a 2in suction line towards the rear.

Alternatively, there’s the higher-spec “Pro”, which has its own agitator and is integrated into the software and water circuit of the Leeb CS.

Features includes relatively compact dimensions and an “optimised” centre of gravity, plus Isobus control, built-in lighting and an optional camera system to reduce the sketchiness of roadway pull-outs.

A 1.2 FT Basic costs £4,770 and the 1.8 FT is £5,190. Going “Pro” adds £1,920 to the price of each.
