Teagle reveals upgrades to Centerliner fert spreaders

Teagle has unveiled upgrades to its Dutch-built range of Centerliner fertiliser spreaders, which add extra sophistication over the standard machine and take maximum capacity up to 3,650 litres.
The Cornish firm has been the UK distributor for Tulip Industries’ spreaders since 2010.Â
Although the changes will appeal to many potential buyers, the new SXe and SXi models use largely the same set-up as before – applying fertiliser through Tulip ’s quadruple overlap system.
However, the SXe has now been equipped with the Easytronic control system, which monitors forward speed and operating parameters, such as disc speed and shutter position, to deliver the desired application rate.
Forward speed is taken to the Centerliner direct from the tractor’s speed sensor, or via a Centerliner wheel sensor kit or GPS system.Â

Topping off the range, the new SXi also comes with the Easytronic control system.
In addition, two weigh cells have been integrated into the chassis to provide automatic calibration and weighed application rate according to the speed of the tractor.Â
Easytronic can be extended to provide headland management and variable rate application, and is compatible with various GPS set-ups. The unit can also be used with the Teagle Polymat seed drill.
The list price of an SXe starts at £10,815.
