Tramspread trims dribble bar spec with new 12m Combination

Buyer requests for a “streamlined” dribble bar specification have motivated Tramspread to launch a new, lighterweight 12m Suffolk Combination model.
Retailing at £31,200, it features a redesigned mainframe with linkage mounts that keep it close to the tractor, and a revised vertical folding boom that weighs less and comes with new break-back end sections.

It is designed to be paired with one of the firm’s 1,000m random wrap reelers behind and, if necessary, a second on the spreading tractor’s front linkage when commuting between fields.

Clear access to the pick-up hitch below also means there’s scope to tow an engine-driven pump.
The dribble bar carries a heavy-duty 5in swinging arm mounted on the front, allowing U-turns to be made in the field, and matching pipework through to the T-piece manifold, which the firm says allows for high flow rates.

Twin Alrena macerators are standard, with Vogelsang equivalents – and a purge valve with spreading tail – available as an option.
