Steel booms for new 24m Tramspread Suffolk dribble bar
© Tramspread The latest addition to Tramspread’s Suffolk dribble bar range runs vertical-folding steel booms, making it a cheaper and easier-to-fix alternative to the existing horizontal-fold aluminium setup.
It comes in a bit heavier as a result, at 2.5t, which the company reckons will benefit tractor traction when dragging heavy umbilical pipes long distances.

Outlets are spaced 300mm apart along the 18/24m wings, which have break-back end sections, knife valves to provide half-width shut-off and independent boom height control each side.
Material comes in via a 5in swinging arm that allows for tight end-of-bout turns, and through a pair of macerators – either from Arena or Vogelsang.
List price is £89,755, versus £98,400 for the horizontal-fold version, which is still available.
