A recent augmented reality smartphone app from Vaderstad allows operators to get a live demonstration of how to get their machine running as it should.

By downloading the free app – available for Apple and Android devices – and pointing the camera at an icon on the machine, the user sees a live three-dimensional video on their screen of how the piece of kit works or should be set up.
For example, the app allows farmers how to see how the Tempo seed meter works, or how to perform a roller change on the Seed Hawk’s Fenix III metering system.
The app is free to download and use and demo codes are available online to show how it works.
