Claas adds track option to its Xerion tractors

Teaming up with track maker Zuidberg has allowed Claas to offer a new crawler version of its Xerion tractor.

To accommodate the track units, the company has added additional bracing around the axles and extra steering rams to deal with the increased resistance of the track’s footprint.

The 5000 Trac TS pictured features a Mercedes six-cylinder engine developing 530hp and 2,500Nm torque, allied to a Cmatic continuously variable transmission.
