A new line of Valtra tractors purpose built for orchard and vineyard work could find applications on stock farms and in horticulture where their slim dimensions would be useful.

The F Series comprises four models from 75hp to 105hp, each available in versions around 1.3m or 1.5m wide and fitted with a cab, but also available in open platform form with the wider configuration.

Valtra has previously offered orchard tractors from its Turkish partner Hattat but this time has turned to the Agritalia unit of the Carraro Group, an acknowledged leader in this sector that also builds specialist tractors for other manufacturers.

A 24-speed transmission with mechanical or hydraulic shuttle and two-speed powershift is part of the package, along with two-speed pto – either 540/540E or 540/1000.

Valtra is also showcasing its “unlimited” customisation options for other tractors in the range, which goes far beyond its familiar colour choice.

The Finnish manufacturer says one in five of all its tractors include some element of work by the factory custom studio.
