Cereals 2025: Grizzly develops £55k Isobus bale trailer

Grizzly Fabrications has pushed the boundary of how much technology can be squeezed into a trailer by fitting its Terra-Line bale lugger with Isobus control.

The result is that a single tap on the tractor screen will lower the hydraulic bale securing sides while simultaneously jacking up the air suspension and drawbar so that they don’t hit the ground.

As well as being a neat party trick, the system allows the trailer to run on 445/45 R19.5 mini super singles while having sides large enough to support four layers of 120×90 bales.

The air suspension is also self-levelling, ensuring the rig remains balanced and stable, and it comes with both a steering rear and lifting front axle.

Other nifty features include work lights that can be controlled from the tractor screen, a reversing camera and front storage locker.

Its construction is suitably heavy duty with 4.5mm chequer plate used in the floor and tough tubular framework for the side supports.

Various sizes are available from 26-36ft, with prices starting at £55,000.

Buyers can reduce that figure by opting for a non-Isobus version or an upcoming model that will feature six rows of straps on each of the lifting sides, rather than full steel framework.
