APM Agriplant’s two new tyre repair kits – Plugs and Inserts and Patches and Gaiters – are designed to allow farmers to carry out professional tyre repairs at less cost than commercial tyre company charges.

Plug repairs in tyres allow punctures and smaller holes to be repaired without removing the tyre from the vehicle. The new kit gives three different types of insert and all other products required for this type of repair in one case, says the company.

If a more traditional patch repair is required, the Patches and Gaiters kit is said to include all that is needed for repairs to tyres and inner tubes.

Cost is £59.95 for the Plugs and Inserts kit and £49.95 for the Patches and Gaiters kit.
