Good show… Michael and Philip Wood brought the best pen of Limousin steers to Bishops Castles show and sale of suckled calves and weanlings last week. The 290kg animals from Kinnerton made £510 apiece. This was a day when steers averaged 129p/kg (£390/head) at this Shropshire venue. Heifers levelled 97p/kg (£275/head), report auctioneers Halls.
