Small is beautiful… its a sign of the times when a model makes nearly as much as the real thing. Christies sold this model Fordson Major Tractor – one of a pair -in London last week for £550. A few days earlier, a full-size version made just £100 more at a Cardiganshire farm dispersal. "The models sold for way above what we expected," said a Christies spokesman. "We had interest from all over the country."
