BARLEY blends can boost output and cut input costs, according to Caledonia Seeds, which sells over 1000t of winter blends a year. Angela plus Pastoral offers very high six-row yield supported by standing power, better disease resistance and improved bushel weight from the two-row variety, says director George Farquhar.
