Bobcat widens tracked skid-steer loader choice

By Andy Moore

THE latest entry in the tracked skid-steer market is the T190 from Bobcat – a model claimed by the company to boost levels of grip and reduce compaction significantly.

Slotting in below the larger T200 tracked machine, the 190 is armed with what Bobcat describes as a "vertical lift path" boom that increases lift capacity and height.

Based on the 773 wheeled model, the loader has an operating capacity of 860kg, weighs 3286kg and is equipped with 320mm-wide rubber tracks. Power is provided by a 56hp Kubota V2003T-EB diesel block.

The T190 can be fitted with implements from the 700 series courtesy of a Bob-Tach system, while quicker and simpler attachment can be achieved using an optional Power Bob-Tach system, says the company.

Pressing a rocker switch in the cab enables basic implements such as buckets and forks to be attached electro-hydraulically.

The T190 can also be specified as a high-flow version for use with oil-demanding equipment such as planers, wood chippers and stump grinders.

In the cab, the loader has the option of an Advanced Control System (ACS) which, via a rocker switch, allows hand and foot controls to be selected for operating boom and auxiliary functions. The T190 in high-flow format costs £23,554. &#42
