Boluses can bring goodness to ewes

A NEW trace element and vitamin bolus launched by Agrimin promises to provide minerals to ewes through from tupping to lambing.

Small-trace is said to provide sheep with six essential trace elements and three vitamins for a six month period. The bolus can be given to ewes pre-tupping or to over-wintered hoggets.

Trial work conducted on the product shows that it gives an improvement in lambing percentage and boosts blood copper and selenium, according to Agrimin.
