Calf price worries at Caledonian Marts
THERE were no grounds for optimism among farmers in the first of the major suckled calf sales at Caledonian Marts, Stirling.

But the one bright spot among the general gloom was the £2200 paid for the reserve champion, a one-year-old Charolais heifer.
