Cows kill pensioner, injure postman
A PENSIONER has died and a postman has suffered injuries in separate attacks by cows.
Both are believed to have been attacked because the cows were over-protective to young.
OAP Barry Pilgrim was killed near Bakewell, Derbyshire, while postman Alistair Johnson, was injured on his round in the Whalley, Lancashire.
The Health and Safety Executive reports that three people were killed by cows and three by bulls last year.
