Cunningham under attack

MPs have tabled an early day motion criticising farm minister, Jack Cunninghams, “arrogant and dismissive attitude”.

The motion, laid by James Gray (Conservative, Wiltshire North), follows Dr Cunninghams absence during last weeks parliamentary debate on the bone-in beef ban.

It says: “That this House deplores the arrogant and dismissive attitude of the right honourable member for Copeland (Dr Cunningham) who failed to attend the debate on the beef bones regulations on 10 February, choosing instead to spend time in the members smoking room.”
