STERLING fell below DM2.90 yesterday and futures increased slightly in value following the trend of recent days. Consumers are now looking to buy October wheat but, with few sellers, this will be difficult. Brussels rejected all bids for wheat at yesterdays meeting, but granted 39,540t of barley at Ecu63.95/t.
