  • French FOB spot wheat value: FFr 730.50 (£ 75.12)

  • Chicago September wheat at close: $2.51 (£ 56.54)


EARLY trading on Friday pushed futures 75p higher, following the French market, before sellers came out ahead of the weekend forecast, making spot sales and thus reducing any futures gains. All eyes will be on prices for this week coupled with yield data to determine whether the crop is 16 million or 16.5m tonnes.
