Delia sparks Gold Top comeback

By FWi staff

CELEBRITY cook Delia Smiths puddings and sauces have prompted a comeback for Gold Top milk, reports the Daily Mail.

Demand for the product, which comes from Jersey and Guernsey cows, has increased in the past two years, leading Sainsburys supermarket to restock it.

Gold Top is favoured by the popular TV cook for sauces and custards, says the Mail.

Gold Top milk has a fat content of up to 6%, compared to silver top which has 3.5% and semi-skimmed which has 1.5%.
