Elderly woman trampled by cows
By FWi staff
THE body of a pensioner – believed to be in her ’70s – was found lying in a field in Lyminster, West Sussex, today (Monday) after she was apparently trampled by cows.
The local woman had taken her four dogs for walk. Two of the dogs were found dead by her side, while the other two managed to escape. A man and woman who were walking along a footpath made the discovery.
Police are said to be keeping an open mind on the matter, but believe the woman was trampled by cows. There were at least 50 cows and one bull in the field where the body was discovered.
