EMU – Government seeks "best deal for UK farmers"

THE Government will be seeking the best deal for UK farmers in the run-up to Economic and Monetary Union, junior farm minister Lord Donoughue pledged this morning at the Farmers Weekly EMU conference.

Other speakers at the todays event include shadow farm minister Michael Jack and NFU president Ben Gill, who is expected to explain the importance to UK farming of joining EMU.
