Poll: Is climate change affecting you and your farm?

Climate change has been to the fore in recent days, with two major conferences – one from the NFU and the Sustainable Food Trust, and one from the Country Land and Business Association.

The compelling message from both was that climate change is definitely happening, agriculture is a significant contributor, but farmers also have the potential to be part of the solution.

Policy change is on the way which is likely to both penalise poor practice (monoculture and soil degradation, for example) and incentivise good practice (tree planting, mixed farming and carbon sequestration, for example).
