First farmers’ market for Scotland
SCOTLAND looks destined to emulate England and start seeing produce sold through farmers markets, reports The Herald.
The paper looks at Bristol Farmers Market, one of the most successful and largest in Britain.
Its success has meant it now opens on a weekly rather than fortnightly basis.
What is believed to be the first Scottish farmers market will be staged in King Edward Street, Perth, on 3 April.
