Handbook includes England and Wales

COMPLETE whole farm data for England and Wales, as well as Scotland, is included for the first time in the 1997/98 farm management handbook, just published by the Scottish Agricultural College.

SAC claims that the 500 pages of physical and financial data can be adapted to deal with any farm situation. Holdings and tenancy legislation, gross margins, machinery costs and contract charges are among the items covered.

The handbook costs £13 and is available from Publications Office, SAC, West Mains Road, Edin-burgh, EH9 3JG.
