&#8226 BRAZIL has opened up its borders to British cattle semen again. It shut the door on imported semen from Britain in 1996 amidst fears of BSE in cattle. Every year Brazil imports 2.5m straws of semen, so it is one of the biggest imported semen markets in the world, reputably worth £ms.
