Irish lamb supplies stay tight

SUPPLIES of Irish lamb are to remain tight for the rest of the year. A cut in the breeding flock meant lamb numbers are expected to fall by 250,000 head.

The Irish Farmers Association is urging producers to sell lambs when fit meet demand from exporters.
