EASIWAVE two-way radio from Kenwood is said to enable farmers and staff to communicate directly without the need for a manned base station.

The short range business radio system offers a range of up to 2 miles between handsets and communication between other users requires the touch of a button. Three frequencies are used and users can switch between them should inter-ference occur.

A rapid charger and high capacity battery is sufficient, says the company, for a days use.
