A BIG crowd turned out last Saturday for Roxburghshire breeder Richard Oates sale of BLUP-scored Limousin bulls from his Lumbylaw herd – but buyers were very selective.

Top call of 5300gns came from J M Bryce, Kelso for Lumbylaw Milkman, a Haltcliffe Hercules son out of a Rake Terence sired dam. He had a Beef Value of 61 and was 0.63 on muscling.
